Something I really appreciate in the show about this topic, is (1) the idea that religion and beliefs evolves changing in time but always somehow related to their past and (2) we generally ignore the past of our religions. This two principles are incredible deep and amazingly represented in the show.

Wow. Forgetting the past or origin of one's religion is necessary i suppose. The historical is always forgotten in order to make way for the mythical. Since the history, the reasons are forgotten, the events become unexplainable, fantastic, and (dare I say it?) interpreted as divine. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
