Ellen's Cylon status is based on Col. Tigh remembering her from a "previous life" -- the others (Tory, Anders, Chief) all are having similar memories, so if they remember Ellen being there with them, it stands to reason that she is the last of the Final Five.

Ellen has not shown up yet, though, except in Tigh's mind. I wouldn't rule out a resurrection at some point (maybe she'll show up at the very end and explain all this...)."
