My father and I think that all of them are cylons. I makes since if you think about it. If all the bones on the planet were cylon, that means that a huge chunck of the colonies were toasters. And, that helps explain why Tye's wife says 'We will be reborn', and it also explain why Starbuck reappeared.Does anyone see a flaw in this idea, or do you have one of you own? If so, please post your reply. Do you find this valuable?

I agree that everyone is Cylon now. I also think this could be the very, very early beginnings of our Earth. However, that wouldn't explain where all the remnants of their existence went and wouldn't explain those pesky dinosaurs. Who knows... Do you find this valuable? |

I am going to say no chance everyone is Cylon, sorry A-C, NGWay and your Pops! The flaw is this show is about the humans, unfortunately, that means a human ending not Cylon. Hope I am wrong. Starbuck may have came back like she is because the cylon lady in the tub who makes them jump all the time and talks in jibberish evolves into being able to fold space with time...

I might also point out that on the last episode of the last season, the very last thing that you see is a demolished Golden Gate Bridge. Now, if you think otherwise, and my eyes are decieving me, again, then please say so, for I need to be corrected.

Yes, I've seen a few debates on the GGB thing! I'm not sure. Maybe the last scene will be someone finding the Statue of Liberty head on the beach! :)Do you find this valuable? |

"I might also point out that on the last episode of the last season, the very last thing that you see is a demolished Golden Gate Bridge. Now, if you think otherwise, and my eyes are decieving me, again, then please say so, for I need to be corrected."On one hand, I feel it's futile to try and figure out which bridge on Earth that would be. It's a bridge on EARTH, after all, with the important fact being that it's Earth, not that it's a certain bridge. On the other hand, I feel compelled to say that if we are trying to figure out which bridge it is, it is definitely not the Golden Gate Bridge. It looks more like the Brooklyn Bridge to me. Anyway, evidence: First, check out the snapshot from BSG here: http://ustpolisci.files.wordpress.com/2008/06/bridge_1.jpg The pylon is basically directly on the shore, with destroyed buildings surrounding it, and the roadway is only a few dozen feet off the ground. The background has destroyed skyscrapers on a flat shore. Now check out this shot of the Golden Gate: http://www.sfbayimages.com/images/400_1x15_4ss_golden_gate_bridge.jpg The pylon in that picture is also close to the shore, and the only other pylon for the Golden Gate is in the middle of the bay. However, there are no buildings surrounding this pylon, and it appears to be much larger than the pylon in the BSG picture, with the roadway elevated much higher than the bridge in BSG. The Golden Gate's pylon also has cross-beams like giant X's, which are not present in the BSG picture. Furthermore, check out this picture of the Golden Gate: http://www.sftravel.com/images/goldengate/golden-gate-bridge-3.jpg The near pylon in that picture is the one we're comparing to the bridge in BSG. Notice the far shoreline has no skyscrapers whatsoever, where there are plenty in the BSG pic. Because of all that, I'm convinced it's not the Golden Gate Bridge. If I had to guess, I would guess that it's the Brooklyn Bridge, but I will have to find some pictures to back that up. Honestly, I don't care either way. To me, all that matters is that it was Earth for sure, probably NYC. Do you find this valuable? |

I do admire the fact that you are this curious about the show. And now I am thinking about how long it must have taken you to figure all of this out.

If you rewatch the scene at the end of "Sometimes a Great Notion" where Tigh wades out into the water, in the distance there appears to be an "island" with some kind of structure on it -- is it just me, or did that seem like it could have been the base of the Statue of Liberty?Of course, the thing about bridges is, their location is determined by the simple facts of geography. If our civilization WAS completely destroyed, all traces removed, and then another race rose in our place and started building cities, they'd probably eventually decide to build a bridge right where the Golden Gate Bridge is now. It just makes sense to have a bridge there. Do you find this valuable? |

How's this for a great ending: everybody turns out to be a Cylon... EXCEPT Baltar. Imagine the whole cast in a circle around him, pointing and laughing maniacally. Poor, poor Gaius.

Everyone is a cylon. remember that somewhere within the episodes (not sure wheer), the cylons mentioned that the final five cylons were different. They started each new cycle. I think the cylon nation started on Earth, and ended in civil war. The final five cylons started a new civilization on the twelve colonies, then became dormant. They forgot what they were - created the mythology of the "human" and "cylon" and the cycle started again. In the last episode, Kara was having flashbacks to a previous life on Earth. They are all cylons, eternally damned to keep repeating the same cycle of creation and self destruction. Pretty deep, huh. Makes you think. Do you find this valuable? |

"In the last episode, Kara was having flashbacks to a previous life on Earth. They are all cylons, eternally damned to keep repeating the same cycle of creation and self destruction."Firstly, I don't think Kara had flashbacks to her own previous life on Earth. Saul, Torri, Anders and Tyrol all had flashbacks, but not Kara. She just found her crashed viper and corpse, that's all. Secondly, I don't think that everyone is technically a cylon. Remember, Baltar was truly able to discover a scientific method of distinguishing cylon DNA from human DNA. For that reason, I don't believe that all the members of the fleet are cylons. However, I do think that this endless cycle of creation and self destruction makes sense. One theory is that back on Kobol, when the inhabitants left for other worlds, this is what happened: The twelve tribes that settled on the twelve colonies were human. But the mythic thirteenth tribe was in fact the cylons that those Kobol humans created, and eventually waged war against. Remember when Baltar was on the surface of Kobol? Caprica Six appeared to him and showed him a bunch of skulls lying in the woods. She commented that humanity's ancestors were more barbaric than the modern humans believed them to be. To me, this makes sense because the thirteenth tribe would have needed a reason to split with the other twelve and travel far across the galaxy to find a place to settle. If that reason was because Kobol's humans and cylons warred with each other, then the physical distance between the tribes' settlements was their version of an Armistice Line. This would also explain why all the remains found on Earth turned out to be cylon - these cylons developed their own skinjobs too. Then the humans on the twelve colonies and the cylons on earth eventually had their own schisms, leading to where we are now. Just like the modern cylons are in the middle of their own schism. After all, "All this has happened before, and all this will happen again." Do you find this valuable? |

You've also got to think of the most possible and popular decision. The producers won't make every one turn out to be cylons just because they can Do you find this valuable? |

Now, think about this. The producers might make the whole fleet cylons simply because no one would expect it. It's like what would happen if Kara had been the last cylon. Sure, fans would have been mad, but they would have been surprised because they thought that that solution was just too simple.
