Bob Newhart wakes up in bed with Suzanne Pleschette...OK, maybe not. But I have a hunch it all comes back to ALL THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE AND WILL HAPPEN AGAIN. Somehow. Maybe Baltar wakes up back on Caprica with Suzanne Pleschette... Do you find this valuable? |

The camera will zoom out to a picture of our galaxy inside a snow globe held by an artistic child.OR….they will find a new uninhabited planet to make there home. Become a new tribe of hybrids, but call themselves humans. In time their children will make robots that will try to kill them all. The twisted cycle will start again. There will be many unanswered questions and we will be confused and disappointed with the story line. Then there will be a TV movie explaining everything. By then no one will care, but we will all watch it any ways. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Humanity started on the home word of Kobol. The 13 tribes left 3600 years ago, probably to escape distruction, to save humanity and founded the 13 colonies. The 13th colony was the birthplace of the Cylons. The 13th tribe created the cylons and human hybrids, found buried remains of a different unknown desigh cylon centurian. War broke out and to survive the Cylons fled to the colonies, 12 Cylon Hybrids one for each colony, in the hope the one someday would revive the Cylon race, and they were successful! The human survivors founded the Real Earth. The 13th Cylon human hybrid that was suppose to go with the surviving humans to Earth, but instead went with to the 12 colonies. Starbuck was the 13th Cylon. That is why she knew the way to this Nuk'd Earth. The Real EArth is out there, its us, time period im not sure. In the End, The fleet will find where the 13 tribe settled. Note; no Cylons here. this is the True Earth, our Earth. Final Note, Dualla was a Cylon. She remembered her life on the old Earth, She was the Love Sam was singind too. Why didn't she hear the music..? She was just a little girl at the time of the nuk blast and was playing Kacks in stead of listening to the music. Do you find this valuable? |

Too much emphasis on "there are 12 cylon models". Dualla did remember playing as a kid. Back to thread topic. How will it end? Thats easy. They told us that a long time ago. I think Dualla was human -- the jacks she found reminded her of her childhood and emphasized the scope of their collective loss in finding Earth barren and uninhabitable. She clearly was starting to lose it in the raptor, and then made every effort to put on a brave face to those around her.She allowed herself to reach out to Apollo and find what little joy was left in her existence, and then promptly ended her life before that joy could fade. She wanted to die happy and hopeful, wanted to end it before the pain and loss and emptiness took hold again. It was a well scripted death and an important one -- the depth of of the depression in the fleet hits home best if we see it destroy a character we've known for a long time. It seems pointless and meaningless on the surface, but it puts a real edge on the fact that the survivors are really starting to unravel, that someone has got to pull the fleet together before they *all* end up like Dualla. I'm right with you Green Arrow, it's gonna end with the slogan of the show all of this has happened before..etc. But I think Sam struck on something 12 cylon models for the 12 colonies and Cara could be a 13th Cylon. I just hope they have a good explanation and not some cruddy mysticism explanation for how Cara came back.I also think this show is gonna end with a huge fleet battle with heavy losses, I know we've had a lot of characters die off and what better than a huge fleet battle with Cavil's fleet to destroy some of the characters that are still holding on for dear life. Another point to I wonder if the show is gonna address anything about the cylon homeworld, they mentioned it in Season 1 and 2 but never again...maybe the new earth is there Cylon homeworld. So to sum it up: -I think Apollo may be the dying leader, it'd be fun a twist if Rosalin can't keep herself together for the presidency (just a wild guess) -Cara is a Cylon -Cavil is gonna blow half the fleet to hell having some characters we know love perish in the process -They will settle on another inhabitable planet possibly the cylon homeworld Do you find this valuable? |

"Another point to I wonder if the show is gonna address anything about the cylon homeworld,"The Planet they think is Earth I believe is the Cylon home world. It is here the original Cylons were created and war broke out. Both human and Cylons left the planet. The Humans went on to find Earth, and the Cylons, one for each colony was sent back to the colonies, in the hopes that someday they would resurrect the Cylon race. They succeeded. I believe Cara was destined to go with the humans but never did. Earth is Cylon Free. She was the only one who knew where this Planet was and was destined to bring them here “Cara is the harbinger of death for the human race” She was suppose to bring them here where they would find out the truth and this would cause havoc among the fleet. It Did! The Admiral, trying to keep the hopes alive must sets a course to find where the humans went. They will find Earth, and Adama will realize Earth is Cylon Free and to end the cycle of destruction he must destroy all the Cylons. An Epic Battle in Space will ensue. The victor settling on Earth. Adama dies, Probably sacrificing the Galacta in the last hope to save the human race and keeping Earth Free of any Cylon model and ending the cycle of war. thats my opinion.. thoughts...? Having Cara go with the humans is a good theory, and she did bring them to Earth and that discovery is causing havoc. Good thinking. I just can't wrap my head around how the 13th tribe was all cylons, but now we only have 12/13 models, I think an answer to that question might help us out too. We also don't know about this Hera business...what is that all about? And I completely agree with you on that there is gonna be a battle for "earth" whatever incarnation it is and winner takes all. It would be truly epic to see the beloved Battlestar make a last stand...It'll just be interesting to see how the Cavil Fleet will fall out on this. Do you find this valuable? |

I think that Baultar discovers that the 'human' fleet is really a cylon Hybrid, from earth, and there hybrids are3/4 cylon. then he gets shot for high treason, his theory is confirmed and the clyons are wiped out in a massive interstellar war. then colonial one makes it to earth to find they were exiled 2000 years ago for plotting to destroy humanity. then is nuked and it ends with no 6 smilng evily and walking into the white house with the president of earth!

Honestly, it's all a bit fraked up in my mind, I can't really settle on one explanation for it all.I do think that there may be a little bit of Cylon in everyone, but that's just a guess. I'm not sure how they would work that into the story. Remember that we know there are only 12 Cylon models because at the end of the miniseries, Adama finds a note in his cabin saying so. I don't think it's ever explained who left that note, when, or why, we just accept it. Perhaps that was a mistake? Though it seems to be a long way back for the writers to do some major revisions on canon. Kara's discovery of her own corpse complicates things. If we believe that Ellen is the last cylon model, and that there are only 12 models, something else must be going on with Kara. Maybe she's also a cylon, though that seems a bit far fetched. Even if she were, that doesn't explain how she reappeared with a clean Viper. One theory (that I admit is in itself far-fetched) is that there are parallel universes at work here. Multiple copies of Kara mean either that she is a cylon (which can't be true is Ellen is the last of 12 models) or that one came from a parallel universe. This kind of jibes with the "All this has happened before and will happen again" mantra. Kara flew into the Maelstrom (which looked like her own Eye of Jupiter painting) and promptly exploded. But then she returned to the fleet during the Nebula battle. And now she finds her corpse on Earth. My guess is that the Maelstrom was some sort of wormhole to a parallel universe, and on the other side of it was Jupiter's Red Spot (Jupiter's "eye"). The Kara from that parallel universe also jumped to the original universe, and that's the one we see now. It still doesn't explain the corpse, but it's just one theory I've been pondering. Maybe it's just turtles all the way down. Do you find this valuable? |

A parallel Universe would be cool but I don't think it would fit in with the gritty Galactica Universe. I'm thinking that we are gonna see some kind of interaction with the Cylon God because of Cara or Cara is some Hybrid Cylon not apart of the 12...maybe.

13. RE: How will it all end?
Feb 13 2009, 2:43 AM EST
I think I have it figured out. 1) Earth was not earth - BSG went out of there way to know give details - but that was the thirteen colony. 2) Cara is the 13th model Cylon - Destroyed herself to get reanimated somewhere and reprogrammed to show the fleet the direction to go. Her job is to bring any survivors of the 12 colonies to their death unknowningly. 3) The 12 models were not created by the Cylons from the first war. Instead, Cylon machines have become subservant to whatever was left of the 13th colony. The 12 models are only clones of what has survived the 13th colony destruction with no memory of the 13th colony except the final 5 which exiled themselves because they did not agree with inslaving the Cylons or wanted to try to protect the 12 colonies. - Proof is that episode of BSG Razor. Basically the 13th colony for some reason has aligned itself into destroying the twelve colonies. 4) Galatica only calls the 12 models Cylon but they are not. They just assumed the Cylons have created them but in reality they cannot tell alien 13th colony technology any different than assumed Cylon created technology. Most likely the leftovers of the 13th colony technology merged into the Cylons AI. 5) When it is said and done, Galatica will find a planet and settle it. That will become our Earth. Basically the 13th colony for some reason has aligned itself into destroying the twelve colonies."Now THAT'S an interesting theory. Well done. I'd be inclined to think that the truth could be slightly more subtle. After all, we know that the mechanical Cylons "experimented" with creating biological models during the war (remember the gruesome "chop shop" young Bill Adama discovered in the Razor flashbacks?). We also know that the humans never saw or knew about the biological models until the attack on the colonies (a point which might be contradicted by the plot of "Caprica"?). Given Ellen's dying words in Saul's flashback memory on Earth ("Everything's in place. We'll be reborn again... together") -- it seems like Ellen was, if not the ringleader of the Final Five, at least the one who was "in the know" about the details of their plan to escape and live on. Maybe then (as Gozag suggests), the Final Five have been pulling the Cylon strings all along -- guiding their uprising, overseeing the creation of the other 7 models, the establishment of resurrection technology, planning the attack on the colonies, even instilling the Cylons with a fundamental monotheist religion that serves their purposes. Suppose the Final Five put all of this into motion as part of their grander scheme (immortality? a means of one day returning to Earth?) and then deliberately had their own memories suppressed, so that they could live safely among the humans until such time as they got close enough to Earth to be "reawakened" -- even choosing Anders's song as the trigger, out of a sense of nostalgia for the past. This might partially explain why the mechanical Cylons seem to show more loyalty to the Final Five than to the other models. The Raider didn't shoot down Anders because Anders was one of the Five who gave them their original programming! I love this show. LOVE. IT. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Well it looks like after watching the episode on 2/13/09 that I was pretty damm close about the 13th colony being responsible for the models or the (skin jobs) as they call them. It just turns out that they were used to try to make them understand humanity and free will but they choose to use that technology to infiltrate the 12 colonies. Technically it was Kobol technology that the 13th tribe recreated and gave to the cylons. However those Cylons were created by the 13th tribe and seperate from the 12 colonies Cylons hense this has happened before and will happen again slogan. So does that mean that the 12 colonies Cylons merged with the 13th Colony Cylons or 1 dominated over the other?

One thing's clear: the 13th Colony was FAR more advanced than the other 12, creating Cylons (and being destroyed by them) thousands of years before the others even built their first Cylon. And by extension, the Earth-Cylons (the Final Five) were far advanced of the Cylons on the 12 colonies (the Centurions). It's still unclear just who's pulling whose strings, though -- the Cavil vs. Ellen thing is fascinating. One question: if it came down to it, would the Centurions follow Cavil's orders above Ellen's, or vice versa? You'd think their reverence for Ellen would outweigh their loyalty to Cavil, but maybe not. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
