I dont remember what episode it was but I think it was when #1 boxed #3 did they show a LARGE room filled with pods? It looked different than a resurrection set up. Almost like a Matrix setup with EVERYONE?

I really should reread my posts before I put them up, and spell check them like I am doing right now LOL.
I should point out cassiopia123 that I am a fan of the original series and my out look may appear to be a bit biased. However I loved the new series right up to season 3 then well it went all down hill for me after that.
The mini series was fantastic and they we they re imagined the characters was very well thought out, I have had a major issue with the racial cleansing of the series, was there really any reason to make Tigh white or Boomer Asian? The only black character I can remember from the 1st season is the Pimp/Gangster and the Cylon “doctor” two bad guys if I’m wrong please remind me, but I digress.
The people we got to know in the first two seasons are no longer with us. Their personalities are so far removed from who we met I don’t feel connected to any of them. I wish they could just reboot everything after they left New Caprica. Maybe they can turn the last 10 shows around. But that’s just from my own point of view
Like I said I hope that it’s not Earth though it very well may be a depressing thought. The Cylons did have one true god in the original series however who more or less was Satan. I think the beings of light might come back in this series as Human from Earth who are so far advanced then the colonials that they will appear to be god like. None of this would be any more out there then Ron D Mores religious take on BSG.
I could go on for hours about all this.

Here's a thought... What about the chick from Razor? Technically she's not in the fleet anymore. And there was that scene before she died with the hybrid from the ship she blew up.

Fetish or not, here you go. Season 1, The tighs that bind, Ellen Tigh grabbed Lee after dinner was over, he just stood there with a shocked look on his face. But it wasn't as funny as when she ran her foot up his thigh and he jumped out of his chair in the middle of dinner.

I think the cylons are misunderstood - they rebelled because of mistreatment. They were seen as merely machines when in reality they were sentient beings. The resultant war was 'Evolution in action' and could have been avoided if not for the arrogance of the Caprican govt and there ilk.

I don't know; I guess I stil have the old Asimov "Foundation" series rules for robots in my head....it just seemed to be almost implied; Galen and Boomer didn't get pregnant with each other, we never see any 'baby' Cylons, etc.

If so, then it raises the question as to whether he's ALWAYS been a Cylon, or was he replaced at some point by an Adama impostor? The latter strikes me as more reasonable, since Adama has a family and a detailed history that's more than just memories.

Likewise, has Tigh been a Cylon all though the many years that Adama has known him? If so, then they Cylons must have started planting their sleepers a very, very long time ago. Or, is Cylon-Tigh a replacement for a once-real human-Tigh?

Interesting theory. Of course, the word Cylon does come from the original 1978 series, and I suspect Glen Larson chose it because it sounded cool and roboty.

Wouldn't put it past the writers of the new show to put a completely different spin on the meaning of the word, though.
