The Role
Tricia Helfer plays the multiple roles of Cylon Number Six.
Overview
Six's model appears to have been created for the purpose of fascinating and seducing humans, both male and female. Her relationship with Gaius Baltar famously brought about the Cylon attacks on the Twelve Colonies, as she used his ego and libido to gain access to Colonial Defenses and corrupt them to Cylon ends. This particular Number Six has since become known as "Caprica Six" and, with Boomer, she led the Cylons to seek out the humans on New Caprica in the hopes that they could live together in harmony, so that she could reunite with Baltar. Caprica Six is currently residing on Galactica, in the brig, since she helped Athena rescue Hera from the Cylon Basestar.
Another Six, called Gina Inviere, infiltrated the Battlestar Pegasus prior to the Cylon attacks. She was romantically involved with Admiral Helena Cain, whose bitterness upon learning of Gina's true nature led her to encourage her officers to abuse and brutalize Gina. Gaius Baltar saved Gina's life and helped her get revenge, but her psychological scars from the Pegasus were too much to bear, and she eventually committed suicide, destroying several ships in the process.
The latest distinct Six personality introduced has been referred to as "Natalie." She has been leading the charge to restore autonomy and higher brain functions to the other Cylon models (Raiders and Centurions) as well as to "un-box" D'Anna Biers' model.

Trivia
- The incarnation of Number Six whom Gaius helps escape from the Pegasus was named "Gina" as a joking reference to GINO, an online acronym that was popping up in message boards from fans of the original series who felt that the new series was "Galactica In Name Only."
- Gina's last name, Inviere, means "resurrection" in ancient Geminese.
