New Battlestar Galactica Movie
Will Glen A. Larson and Universal take Battlestar Galactica back to its roots?
It's unclear what form this might take: a remake of the original series? A continuation? What is clear is that die-hard fans of the 1978 series might soon have a chance to revisit the Battlestar universe once inhabited by Dirk Benedict, Lorne Greene, and, dare we hope... Muffit? What do think? Fact or fantasy? Brilliant move, or yet another cinematic rehash of 70s television (a la Starsky and Hutch, The Dukes of Hazzard, Charlie's Angels)? Will this "new version of the old version" change Starbuck back into a man? Will there be a monkey in a dog suit? Will the heroes play sports wearing brightly-colored speedos? How will they ever find an eyebrow-arching villain as wonderfully evil as John Colicos? Is Patrick Macnee available for voiceover work?

Will the new movie go back to Admiral Adamas day with the Battlestar Valkyre which he mentioned in the 2004 series.

I guess this thread will not die unless the new movie comes out in theaters.Ask yourself if you do the original BSG,their is no original cast members from the original except for Richard Hatch,who is older now and if their are any original cast members they too would be old for the series.It's a new generation of BSG and should keep it going and besides the special effects are 10x better with the new series,and their is a lot of ground to cover from the first war with the cylons.I own the original series with Lorne Green as a Adama and it was great for the late 70's and early 80's but lets remember Lorne Green as the original Adama and stay with the new BSG.SO SAY WE ALL! SO SAY WE ALL!

It's time to give the old original BSG a rest,and lets see more of the new series.How about young Admiral Adama when he was younger like in Razor with the old cylons,and besides their is enough material to cover this in a movie.
