Shortly after the death of Admiral Cain and the destruction of the Resurrection Ship, a depressed and aimless Apollo found himself in a "relationship" with a woman named Shevon aboard Cloud Nine.

Lee was deluded into thinking that it was a meaningful relationship, that he was a protector and provider to Shevon and a father figure to her daughter. In truth, Shevon was a prostitute working for black marketeers. Apollo's connection to Shevon ended after he killed the gangster controlling the black market, and it is likely that Shevon died when Cloud Nine was destroyed not long after.
