| Laura Roslin and Richard Adar worked together for many years, starting when he was the mayor of Caprica City. Once a teacher, Roslin served as Secretary of Education during Adar's presidency. Although Adar was married, the two were apparently involved in an affair, which ended during a teacher's strike that Roslin was mediating. The two fell out shortly before the Cylons attacked the Twelve Colonies, which would leave Roslin the successor to the presidency. | ||||
