While not the most romantic of settings, Sam and Starbuck met near the ruins of Delphi. The two quickly hit it off and were eventually married.

Of course, the honeymoon didn't last long between these two. One problem might have been the fact that Starbuck is really in love with Apollo. Another marital issue arose when it was discovered that the groom is a humanoid Cylon.

By the end of the series, the two have their own issues to deal with, as Sam has a bullet in his head and Starbuck is possibly undead.
