The Eight | Felix | |||
| In a story contained entirely within the webisode series The Face of the Enemy, we learn that while on New Caprica (serving the Baltar Administration but also feeding critical intel to the resistance), Felix was befriended by a sympathetic Eight who wanted to help him find his missing friends. Felix was able to pull together lists of humans that had gone missing, and tried to use his influence to get them freed from the Cylon prisons. Whenwhen the Eight offered to help him secure their freedom, the two secretly became romaticallyromantically involved. Years later, when Felix was trapped aboard a disabled raptor with the Eight he had known on New Caprica, he learned the horrible truth: that she had not freed his friends, but instead had ordered their immediate executions. She had deliberately played him for a foolfool, andjust enjoyedfor the enjoyment of toying with the emotions of one of her mortal enemies. This revelation drove the already-devastated Gaeta over the edge, creating in him a violent hatred for the Cylons so violent that eventuallyhe ledformed himan toalliance with leadTom Zarek and led a mutiny against Adama aboard Galactica. | ||||
