| Cally Henderson's devotion to Chief Tyrol is pretty clear from the get-go. When Chief's lover, Boomer, betrays the fleet and shoots Adama, it's Cally that pulls a Jack Ruby and sends Boomer off to the resurrection hub. Tyrol remains very protective of Cally, and sometime between Kobol and the colonization of New Caprica, they fall in love and are married. Their marriage turns out to be a fairly weak one, though: Cally lies to Galen about the fact that their son isn't his; Galen never seems to be quite over Boomer; the Chief routinely places work ahead of family; and when thehe Chieffinally realizes that he's one of the Final Five, everything unravels rapidly. Throughout it all, though, Galen remains extremely protective of Cally, almost as if he wants to save her to make up for not being able to save Boomer. | ||||
