While the crashed survey team seeks shelter, Number Six leads Baltar to the Opera House of Kobol where she shows him "the shape of things to come" -- a glowing bassinet. Boomer, who is recovering from a suicide attempt, is sent to destroy a Cylon Base Star. Commander Adama arrests Roslin in a military coup and has her locked up in the brig. Apollo, siding with Roslin, aims his gun at Colonel Tigh. Roslin defuses the situation by surrendering, and Tigh locks up Apollo for mutiny. Meanwhile, on Caprica, Starbuck finds the Arrow of Apollo at the ruins of the History Museum. A copy of Six attacks her, and Helo appears and helps Starbuck. When she sees Boomer 2 and realizes that Sharon is a Cylon, she attacks her, but Helo intervenes, claiming that Boomer 2 is pregnant with his child. Back above Kobol, Boomer destroys the Base Star with a nuclear warhead, but before it blows she sees a dozen copies of herself. On her return to Galactica, she follows her activated programming by shooting Adama in the stomach.
