Starbuck and Baltar have sex, but he is hurt when she calls out Lee's name. He spurns Number Six. Adama beats Apollo at boxing and tells him he would fight better if he allowed himself to lose control. When Apollo finds out about Starbuck and Baltar, he becomes angry. Meanwhile, President Roslin learns that her cancer has spread. Doc Cottle gives her six months to live. Crashdown discovers a planet; Roslin has visions that the planet, Kobol, will show them the way to earth, and becomes convinced that she is mankind's prophesied leader. She brings Kara to her side by telling her of Adama's deception (that he knows the way to Earth); Kara leaves for Kobol in the Cylon Raider. Boomer, convinced she is a Cylon, attempts suicide. On Caprica, Helo shoots Boomer 2 in the shoulder, but reluctantly sticks with her in an effort to find a way off the planet.
