Plot Summary

On Colonial Day, President Roslin announces the new Quorum of Twelve. Former terrorist Tom Zarek is elected to represent Sagittaron. Zarek calls for immediate elections for a Vice President, and is himself nominated. Starbuck and Apollo stop a man who's smuggled a gun onto Cloud Nine, but he is murdered before they can learn who he's working for. It is implied that Ellen Tigh may have arranged it for Zarek. Roslin nominates Dr. Baltar as VP and he and Zarek tie the vote. Roslin breaks the tie and Baltar is sworn in. On Caprica, Helo finds out that Boomer 2 is a Cylon.
