Low on tylium (fuel), Adama sends scouts out in search of a planet to mine. Crashdown and Boomer find one, but the Cylons got there first. Desperate, Adama plans an attack on the Cylons; however, since a Nuclear warhead would destroy the tylium, they must get up close and use conventional weapons. Baltar identifies the structure they must attack, choosing it at random on a map while Six assures him that God will guide his hand. Apollo will make the attack run, as Starbuck is injured. She doubts his abilities, but he pulls it off. Baltar chose right, and Apollo's Starbuck-like maneuvers is successful. Baltar begins to believe that he truly is an instrument of God.

On Caprica, Boomer and Helo flee from the Cylons.
